Citroën Jumpy
Citroën Jumpy is a minibus that Citroën has produced in Europe since 1995.
In the UK, Ireland and Australia, it’s sold under the name Citroën Dispatch.
Citroën Jumpy I (1995-2007)
The first generation of Citroën Jumpy cars has been serially manufactured since 1995 at the new SEVEL joint plant in southern France, along with identical Peugeot Expert and Fiat Scudo models.
In 2004, the car was upgraded.
Citroën Jumpy II (2007 – Nowadays)
In 2007, another generation of Jumpy appeared in Europe. The second generation model was created thanks to the collaboration of PSA Peugeot Citroen and Fiat. The official presentation took place on November 7 at the Sewell Nord Plant in France in the presence of Mr. Jean-Marten Foltz, chairmen of the PSA Group and Sergio Markioni, president of the FIAT Group.
Jumpy’s Compact Wave offers more versions than ever before: two wheelbase options and two roof height options.
Citroën Jumpy II is equipped with high-performance HDI turbodiesels with Common Rail system and direct fuel injection: 1.6 HDi 16v 90hp and 2.0 HDi 16v 120 hp or 136 hp and a gasoline engine of 2.0 l capacity of 140 hp All engines comply with Euro 4 standard. The car’s motors are lined up with a 5 or 6-speed transmission.
Citroën Jumpy III (2016 – Nowadays)
Third generation Citroën Jumpy is available in three variations in length. It is XS – 4.6 m, M – 4.9 m and the longest XL – 5.3 m. In the latter case, the useful volume of the cargo compartment reaches 6.6 cubic meters. The car has a hands-free option for opening side movable doors. If your hands are occupied, it’s enough to raise your foot behind the rear bumper and the sliding doors will open themselves with the help of an electric motor.
