One of the most practical minivans in the European market, Citroen Evasion, has been trying to attract rare customers with a superb 2-liter turbocharged HDi (110 hp) diesel engine and a rich list of standard equipment.
Citroen Evasion lost in sales because of its outdated appearance against the background of more modern competitors Renault Espace or Ford Galaxy. Technically Evasion is an analogue of Peugeot 806 / FIAT Ulysse / Lancia Zeta models. All of them were produced at the joint French-Italian company SEVEL. Evasion was equipped with three variants of gasoline 4-cylinder engines with a working volume of 1.8 and 2.0 liters with a capacity of 99-147 hp, including – with a turbo, as well as two turbocharged 1,9- and 2,1-liter diesel engines .
